{The Breath Of All Things}
"It is easy to cloak yourself in your failure and let the sadness and the suffering become all you are; it is tempting to wear your flaws like a label, because that way you aren’t surprised when they decide to come together and put on a show. It’s certainly easier than trying to overcome them, because if you want to learn to swim, you first have to accept that you cannot."

Maybe you can tell by just the above excerpt, but I’ve discovered some surprising things in this fic regarding self-acceptance, mind and body. And for that, the author has my thanks. (It also makes me wish Dean actually got to hear some of these things on the show.) This is one of the best destiel stories I’ve ever read, and one I’m not afraid to recommend wholeheartedly. Moreover, the author has actually worked in a care home.
